On May 16, 2019 – Vivienne Parry, Head of Engagement at Genomics England, gave the opening remarks on “Gene Edited Therapeutics and Gene Therapy: how can gene technology be used now and, in the future, to treat and cure diseases in the clinic”.
During the panel discussion, it was informed that current opportunities and limitations in gene therapy, as well as the challenges we are currently facing to overcome in the future. Also, working in the healthcare industry that bridging the gap between the western world and China, we should pay more attention on tackling market access challenged and reimbursement hurdles. Therefore, we can further move towards our mission to engage our stakeholders in China.
